Scheduling a Consultation

• To schedule a consultation, please send me an email directly: marie@thehomeomother.com
• There is a required $150 deposit to hold the appointment date/time. This amount will be deducted from the total balance, which is due 24 hours before the appointment start time, along with the completed intake form and waiver.
• Please take your time completing the intake form, this is referenced in depth before the call, and specific questions may arise from it to better help determine remedies that may help your child.

After the Consultation

• It is very helpful to send any videos you have of your child (but not required) to get a better gauge of them and see visuals of any specific types of behaviors.
• I will follow up via email in 3-4 days with a detailed overview of the remedies suggested at this time, the reasoning for the selection, and other information pertaining to dosing, etc.
• For the first 3 weeks following the consultation, I want to know how things are going, so please keep me updated. See the Communication Guidelines for more information on expectations.

Expectations of Outcomes

• There are many children that make a lot of drastic progress, very quickly. There are others though that is more gradual, and on occasion some that are a bit harder to get things moving. For those who are slower to respond we may need to make dietary adjustments, add in herbs, supplements, or functional testing.
• Followups are very important to keep progress continuing, it is best to do them every 2-3 months. Often complex children can have many layers, and some they may go through quickly.

Communication Guidelines

• 3 Week Period After Consultations:
  • For the first 3 weeks after your consultation, I am happy to provide email support for questions or updates at no charge. This includes clarification about your dosing schedule, and remedy responses. I want to ensure everything is off to a good start 😊 
• After this 3 Week Period:
  • I welcome short updates on progress, or quick questions on remedy responses at any time. I am more than happy to provide a brief response, but do note it may take 2-3 days (not including weekends or holidays) to respond.
• For Detailed Questions or Requests
  • More detailed questions that require me to review your child’s file, adjust remedies, or provide additional detailed guidance inbetween appointments (after the initial 3 weeks) will incur a fee of $95. 
  • I will of course let you know if you would like to do this, or simply wait for the next appointment. If you need to schedule an appointment, please send me an email. 
• For Acute Needs
  • For acute situations, I would like to encourage you to join The Homeo Mother Community. This is a supportive community with forums to ask questions, and resources to learn more in depth about homeopathy.
  • If you are not already a member, clients can simply email me to bypass the waitlist and join/utilize the 20% member discount. 
• For Lab Results
  • Getting functional tests done can be incredibly useful at identifying at what is known in homeopathy as “obstacles to the cure”. I review any and all during consultations as part of the review process in determining remedies. 
  • I am starting to offer a new service of reviewing labs, generally (children and adults). The base fee is $95, for group members it will be $75, and for clients inbetween appointments it will be $50 – or if you wait until the next appointment it is included for free. 
• When Emailing Me:
  • To help me respond as effectively as possible, please include the following details on your email: the current remedies and potencies on, any changes made, and a brief description of the remedy response or concern.
  • For acute illness (in the group): share when the symptoms began, what makes it better or worse, and a description of all symptoms (location, sensations, etc).
